Oregon & SW Washington Chapter

Our mission: promote excellence and ethics in management consulting through certification, education and professional resources.

Thank you for visiting the home of the Oregon/SW Washington Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC).  We are an active organization for consultants at all levels of practice and offer an array of networking and professional development opportunities.  One of our primary goals is to help consultants reach the next level in their practices by continually delivering on our pledge:  "Get smart, get known, get business!"

As President for the Oregon/SW Washington Chapter and on behalf of the Board, I invite you to join us in achieving our vision for the Chapter in 2008.

First, we are an active and robust "community of consultants".  We are a generous group of individuals who focus on our desire to help each other.  You may have noticed at some of our monthly breakfast meetings the collaborative and engaging spirit of the group.  That's not by accident!  We believe in giving others the opportunity to "get smart, get known and get business" so that collectively we become a resource for our clients and colleagues to turn to for solutions to their individual or company challenges.

Second, we are a learning organization.  Whether you are an aspiring consultant, one who has been in practice for a while, or someone who is a part of a larger consulting firm, this is your home!  IMC provides our members with opportunities to grow their practices by attending our monthly breakfast meetings where we bring in the best-of-the-best in the consulting field to share their insights into this valuable profession.  Our professional development workshops and twice-yearly no-cost members only events provide additional opportunities for networking and skill enhancement.  The CMC (Certified Management Consultant) designation is a highly sought after recognition that many members strive for and achieve through the IMC.

Third, we are connected to the community.  IMC Oregon/SW Washington enjoys professional affiliations with several other organizations.  These reciprocal relationships enhance the value of our diversity and serve as a resource from which to expand our offerings to you, the members!

We invite you to join us on our journey of growth and to think of the IMC as your place to turn to for meeting new colleagues, expanding your skills, and most importantly to enjoying success with a professional group of like-minded individuals.

Finally, feel free to contact me or any of our outstanding Board members for further information.  We look forward to assisting you in your professional aspirations!
